An electric air conditioning system is meant to replace stock system running off of internal combustion engine. Featured A/C  consists of the R134a refrigirant compressor coupled with variable speed brushless direct current (BLDC) motor integrated in one physical unit. The motor is run by an inverter fed directly from high voltage traction battery. Supporting stock components (A/C radiator, consenser and plumbing) are retained or replaced with similar type fitting the vehicle.

This system is an alternative to run stock compressor with external AC electric motor fed from small inverter (or sometimes DC motor run straight from the traction pack if system voltage is in its working range).

Inverter will take up to 450 VDC input and BLDC motor is meant for up to 300VDC operation. The compressor speed is controlled by 0...5V analog voltage on the inverter's speed control input.

Manufactured by Masterflux. 1 year warranty.
